Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your journey with a drive to Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy unlimited game drives and a hot lunch in the park. Overnight at a Tarangire public campsite with provided tent, mattress, and sleeping bag.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (Central)

Drive through Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti’s endless plains. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, spotting big cats and more. Camp under the stars at a central Serengeti public campsite.

Day 3-4: Full Days in Serengeti

Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Follow migration trails (seasonal), track lions, and enjoy hot bush lunches. Overnight at the central Serengeti public campsite, soaking in the wilderness.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing Maasai villages. Overnight at Simba Campsite on the Ngorongoro crater rim with epic views.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO site, for a full-day game drive. Spot the Big Five, including black rhinos, and enjoy a hot lunch by the hippo pool. Return to Simba Campsite for the night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha through the Great Rift Valley, with optional curio shopping. Drop-off at your hotel or airport, ending your adventure.
